I...Greetings from the evening world of Feb 9, 2020. I'm currently on a Miracle Legion kick, which means by extension, a Mike Mulcahy kick. I first heard of him, as I'm sure most kids from my generation did, watching the Nickelodeon kids' show The Adventures of Pete and Pete, and the show's theme song "Hey Sandy." Lately after watching a few reunion clips of the show's cast, I was influenced to seek out and download the theme song, Hey Sandy. This led to me seeking out more song by "the band" which led me to Miracle Legion and this very article. Legit shocked that Mulcahy and Miracle Legion was putting out music in the 80's, and that were once featured acts on college radio back then. Thanks to the internet, I'm (re)discovering the band, and especially Mulcahy's other hits. I'm currently digging "Let the fireflies fly away", "All for the best" and of course the song that influenced and prompted the Adventures of Pete and Pete show creator to even create the show in the first place. Good article btw. Mr. Morbid's House Of Funhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06721085161381688977noreply@blogger.com
